Working Principle
In a dust explosion, the shockwave arrives before the flames. The explosion isolation valve closes rapidly upon detecting the shockwave and is reliably locked by its self-locking mechanism, effectively preventing the propagation of flames and pressure waves.
After an explosion event, the valve can be manually reset. It is ready for reuse again after simple maintenance and safety assessment. During normal operation, the valve plate remains open via an assisted opening device.

Use and Care
Before operating the system fan, be sure to confirm the explosion-proof valve is in the open state to prevent damage to the fan and other equipment caused by the valve plate closing and locking.
After installation and use, perform maintenance at least once a month. The maintenance frequency can be increased appropriately based on specific working conditions.
After maintenance and reassembly, a sealing test must be conducted and details recorded for future reference.
